MinSkoa Final

MinSkoa71 Pt. 2

For the MinSkoa assignment, I have removed the shoe logo through photoshop, and have started cleaning up the shoe. It is difficult with the lighting situation, but at least the logo is gone for now. Once clean up is complete, the next step is inserting the MinSkoa logo, as well as possibly implementing the colours in. After that, splashes will be added, and the final background to complete the advertisement.

MinSkoa 71 Shoe Assignment

For a school assignment, we are supposed to come up with a new shoe design from a previous shoe ad created, and create a backing story to support and sell the shoe. within this we are to incorporate splashes as well as numerous other photoshop tool. Here is my current brainstorming sheet. Basically, I read the provided info about the MinSkoa company, and then brainstormed around the number 71:  
My brainstorming was to the point, and my conclusion is that in 1971, there were various natural disasters, such as Mt. Etna exploding, or the US San Fernando earthquake as a couple examples. MinSkoa started as company from Denmark, who provided relief aid for this disaster. The aid provided was a new shoe concept. thousands were distributed amongst the earthquake victims. However, this exotic shoe style, although simple to the Deutsch, was new a sought after by its receivers. People not part of the disaster started inquiring and purchasing the shoes. It was this point that set the company off to continue making the simple 'relief-aid' shoes, and to further their development with more high end models. Every year since, the simple model has stayed somewhat the same, however the higher end models change to adapt to societies fashion trends and stages. This years 2010 model is coming back to North America as a runner, which stays true to its high quality and durable material, and states a simple yet aggressive and unique design.
