Hai Menu Assignment Final

For this assignment we were to design a menu for a new far-east fusion restaurant starting with a previous assignment (soya sauce painting) as a starting asset. My brainstorming started as follows :

From my ideas, I started with a 3" pallet per menu page. Then, with the idea of bamboo, and Asian/ Japnaese culture, I came to the theme of natural/ earth colours such as browns and yellows and greens. Layering my background, pictures, and covers, adjusting opacity and blend modes, I was able to place my assets and other pictures appropriately, while keeping them aesthetically pleasing and relevant to the theme.
