Robocop!

Here is my Robocop assignment done partially with a Wacom tablet. It was fun using the tablet, and I can see it being very handy within this field of work. I enjoyed finishing this picture.

Hai Menu Assignment Final

For this assignment we were to design a menu for a new far-east fusion restaurant starting with a previous assignment (soya sauce painting) as a starting asset. My brainstorming started as follows :

which, with the help of my starting asset:

led to these possibilities and ideas.

From my ideas, I started with a 3" pallet per menu page. Then, with the idea of bamboo, and Asian/ Japnaese culture, I came to the theme of natural/ earth colours such as browns and yellows and greens. Layering my background, pictures, and covers, adjusting opacity and blend modes, I was able to place my assets and other pictures appropriately, while keeping them aesthetically pleasing and relevant to the theme. Once the layout was made I placed the text in on top of everything

For this assignment, we were to create different size banners for the show 24, promoting a web contest for the show. (Not for real) Here are my banners!) (Sizes are as follows: 300x250 // 240 x 400 // 120x600 // 160x600 // 468x60 // 728x90)
